Finding instant loans for people on benefits is no easy task. The problem is that lenders see those on benefits as someone who doesn’t have enough extra income to afford to pay back a loan. Are they right? Probably not, but that doesn’t affect their decision! In this post I want to offer some help in finding instant online loans for you. I can’t lend any money, but hopefully I can point you in the right direction.
The best way to start is simply to start browsing actual instant lenders. Don’t bother dealing with a loan matching service, go straight to the lender. You can read through the fine print and FAQ section to see if they’re able to help. A part of the problem is that they may only offer loans for people on benefits in certain states, rather than all of the states that they’re licensed to lend in, making this problem even more confusing!
On many loan applications you’re going to see a drop down box where you choose how you get paid. In that box there will normally be a selection for “benefits” or “SSID” or whatever. Don’t assume that this means they’ll be able to help you out. They’re intention here is to see how you get paid, rather than if you’re going to be able to get a loan. Go out and try a few different lenders and see if they can help you out.
What if there aren’t any online instant lenders that are able to help you out? Grab your phone book and start calling all of the lenders that are local to you. Doing this will at least give you the opportunity to pitch your story and situation to a real person, who may be persuaded to help you out. Be honest and upfront with them, but don’t hesitate to pour on the pity if need be!
Between both of these options you should be able to get a loan somewhere. I’m sorry that there isn’t an easier way, but most lenders simply don’t want to offer instant loans for people on benefits. I know that it’s not fair, but it’s a fact of life in the cash advance industry.
With all of this being said, if I can find a lender that will consistently lend to people on benefits I will update this post, but for now we have to work with what’s already out there.
